Booking & Cancellation Policy

I completely understand that life can be unpredictable, and I’ll always do my best to be fair and flexible. The following guidelines help us both keep things running smoothly. By making a booking for any type of session or pack, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Session Format & Platform

All sessions are held online via Zoom, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You’ll receive your unique Zoom link once payment has been received. In the event of significant technical difficulties or connection issues, we’ll reschedule the remaining time of your session at no additional cost. Minor interruptions will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Payment & Booking Confirmation

Once a session time is agreed via email, it will be held for a maximum of 48 hours pending payment. If payment is not received within 48 hours, the session will be released and the booking process will need to start again.

Packages & Block Bookings

Packages and multi-session blocks must be paid in full upfront, and sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase unless otherwise stated.

If you (the client) need to cancel or reschedule
  • Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid being charged.

  • You may reschedule a lesson twice within 6 months; after that, the lesson will be forfeit.

  • If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, you’ll be charged the full amount, and no reschedule will be offered.

If I (the teacher) need to cancel or reschedule
  • I’ll reschedule at a time that works for both of us.

  • I’ll always aim to give as much notice as possible.

Refunds
  • No refunds are given for lessons, whether cancelled or missed.

  • If a lesson is rescheduled (by either of us), it will retain its original length and price.

Attendance & Lateness
  • If you arrive late, your lesson will end at the scheduled time.

  • If you miss the lesson entirely, it’s forfeit (no refund or reschedule).

  • If I arrive late, you will still receive the full lesson time.

Expiry & Time Limits

All sessions expire 6 months after purchase, whether used or unused.

Group Courses

The following terms apply to all group courses and supersede any individual lesson cancellation policy.

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Places are not held without payment.

Cancellations by the student: Places on group courses are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your place may be transferred to a future run of the same course, subject to availability. Transfers must be requested before the course begins. No transfers will be offered once the course has started.

Transferring your place to someone else: You are welcome to transfer your place to another eligible participant if you can no longer attend. Please arrange this independently and let me know the name of the person taking your place before the course begins. I'm not able to directly facilitate transfers or refunds between students. Cancellations by Laura Dumbleton: In the unlikely event that a course is cancelled before it begins, a full refund will be issued. If an individual session is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, it will be rescheduled where possible or credited toward a future course.

Minimum numbers: Group courses require a minimum of 3 participants to run. In the event that minimum numbers are not reached, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a future date.

Age: This course is open to participants aged 18 and over. By booking you confirm that you meet this requirement. If a participant is found to be under 18 prior to the course beginning, a full refund will be issued. No refund will be offered if this comes to light after the course has started.

Accessibility: Please check individual course listings for accessibility information before booking.

Confidentiality

All sessions are conducted in confidence. Personal information shared during lessons, coaching, or breathwork will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law. All data is stored in accordance with GDPR Guidelines.

Health & Responsibility

Breathwork and coaching sessions are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. By booking, you confirm that you are responsible for your own wellbeing during and after the session, and that you will inform me of any relevant health conditions in advance.

Exceptional Circumstances

I understand that sometimes things happen beyond our control. In genuinely exceptional circumstances (for example, serious illness, accident, or family emergency), I may use my discretion to offer a reschedule, credit, or refund outside of the usual policy.
